Then we went to eat at Pickle Barrel!


Calamari as starter. Always good.. wherever we go, at least to me!


Panko Crusted Basa Fillet. lighted crusted basa fillet, pan sauteed & topped with Asian bell peppers & mushroom sauce. Served with brown basmati rice.
Didn't enjoy this, surprisingly. The sauce was way too strong with some sort of distinctive bitter aftertaste. Mushroom sauce? =\

The food was good, washrooms were ugly and tables were too close to one another.

More often than not, we're listening in on other peoples' conversations than having our own. We don't intend on eavesdropping but when we do try to speak to each other, we can't hear each other. This happened twice today.

Ramen today at Kenzo on Dundas West.



Sapporo-style ramen. It wasn't super but wasn't bad. The bowl was huge, too bad I couldn't take a full shot. I couldn't finish half of it.
